Important Health-Related Information

Please Read the Following:
Always follow your physician's recommendations.
Severe dehydration and excessive water loss may yield
inaccurate results. If you believe you are suff ering from
severe dehydration, consult your physician immediately.
Results below 60 mg/dL (3.3 mmol/L) may mean low
blood glucose levels (hypoglycemia).
Results over 240 mg/dL (13.3 mmol/L) may mean high
blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia). Checking ketones
may be advisable .
If you get results below 60 mg/dL (3.3 mmol/L) or above
240 mg/dL (13.3 mmol/L) and do not have symptoms of
hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, repeat the test. If you
have symptoms or continue to get results that fall below
60 mg/dL (3.3 mmol/L) or rise above 240 mg/dL (13.3
mmol/L), follow your physician's recommendations.
If you are experiencing symptoms that are not consistent
with your blood glucose test and you have followed all
instructions described in the Liberty™ Owner's Booklet,
follow your physician's recommendations.
Patients undergoing oxygen therapy may receive inaccu-
rate results.
