Opening the file
To open the saved files, press the open file key to open
the open file window.

Select the folder location, either the built-in memory or
USB flash drive.
Open the folder that contains the desired file by pressing
the folder icon.
The file list of the selected folder is displayed.
To open the file, press the file icon.
w File icon
In the embroidery mode, file attributes can be viewed
when pressing
key to show the large file icon.
e File attribute
There are 4 file attributes as follows:
: *.JEF (Janome embroidery format)
: *.JEF+ (editable Janome embroidery format)
: *.JPX (*.JEF+ with a background bitmap image)
: *.JPX (*.JEF+ with hoop FA10a limit)
Viewing file names
In the file list window, the file icon key can show up to 8
characters of the file name.
If the file name is long and cannot be shown, press the
long icon key
to show the long file name.
r Long icon key
File names in Russian letters can also be shown when
the long icon key is pressed.
