5.2.3 Use of the hood in the extraction version
If the hood is factory equipped with an activated charcoal filter, it must be removed. The filter is used
only when the extractor hood is used in recirculation mode.
5.2.4 Use of the hood in recirculation mode
To use the appliance as a recirculation hood, the activated charcoal filter(s) must be fitted on the fan motor
before using the hood. An activated charcoal filter or filters are included on some models. Otherwise,
you will need to purchase an activated charcoal filter or filters from your cooker hoods supplier/dealer.
5.2.5 Electrical hook-up
WARNING: Before connecting the hood, make sure the voltage (V) shown on the
nameplate is the same as the mains voltage available in your home.
WARNING: Do not install the appliance if the nameplate values do not match the available
supply voltage. The nameplate is located inside the hood, behind the grease filter.
If the hood is equipped with a standard plug, insert the plug in an easily accessible standard power
outlet.
