Formatting the Memory Card or Internal Memory

1. Turn the Mode dial to Playback mode (
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Press the RIGHT button to scroll to ìFORMATî(
4. Use UP/DOWN button to select NO or YES.
5. Press the SET button to confirm your selection.
YES ñ Formats the memory.
- This starts the FORMATTING operation.
- After the memory storage is formatted, the message ìNO IMAGEî
Note:
The data deleted by a format operation cannot be recovered. When
performing the format operation with an SD card inserted in the camera,
only the images on the SD card will be permanently lost. When performing
the fromat operation without an SD card inserted in the camera, only
images in the camera's internal memory will be permanently lost.
