Exhaust System Description

The exhaust system is comprised of the following
components:
1. Exhaust collector assembly
2. Turbocharger
3. Hydraulic wastegate
4. Lubrication plumbing

During normal engine operation, exhaust gasses exit
the cylinder combustion chambers, and flow through
the exhaust collector to the turbocharger turbine
housing inlet. The exhaust flow rotates the turbine
and exits through the turbine discharge port and the
tailpipe. The turbine drives the compressor which is
connected by a common shaft.
