inspection with the following data:
Unmetered or Pump Pressure (PSI)
6.0 - 8.0.........................................@600 RPM
37.0 - 40.0 ....................................@2700 RPM
Metered fuel pressure (PSI)
15.0-16.5 ..................................... @2600 RPM
Fuel Flow (GPH)
34.8-36.8 ..................................... @2600 RPM
Fuel Flow (Lbs./Hr.)
204-216 ....................................... @2600 RPM
During operational inspection did all fuel
system drains function properly........
NOTE...
Unmetered or pump pressure must be checked with
external calibrated gauges connected to the fuel
system. Do not use airframe cockpit gauges when
checking fuel pressures.
If the fuel injection system is found to be in good
physical condition and operational inspection
readings conform to the specified flows and
pressures, the engine fuel system can be approved
for return to service.

procedure for correcting it."
Throttle And Mixture Control Levers
To insure proper
accelerated wear, the fuel metering unit lever, fuel
pump mixture control lever and control cable
connections must be inspected for excessive play
which can cause lost motion and breakage of parts
due to vibration. Inspect the pivot points of levers
and connections for debris, old grease and oil.
Clean pivot point areas thoroughly using clean
stoddard solvent. After cleaning, dry each area
using compressed air.
