INDUCTION
PROBABLE CAUSE
Induction system intake obstructed
Induction system leakage
Restrictions in air intake passages
Throttle not opening wide
IGNITION
PROBABLE CAUSE
Ignition switch OFF or grounded
switch wires
Spark plugs fouled, improperly
gapped, or loose
Magnetos improperly timed to
engine
Shorted condenser
Magneto internal timing incorrect
or timed for opposite rotation
Spark plugs fouled or improperly
gapped
Weak condenser
Loose or improperly gapped spark
plugs
CORRECTION
Locate and remove obstruction
See section 2, chapter 10
Check air passages remove
|restriction
Check and adjust control
connections in accordance with the
airframe manufacturer s
instructions.
CORRECTION
Turn
switch
On.

Remove and clean. Adjust to proper
gap in accordance with spark plug
manufacturer's
specifications.
Torque spark plugs in accordance
