    General information 1. General information 1.1 Introduction The TR80 semi-mounted rear application, hereinafter, will simply be called "MACHINE" or “HARVESTER”; while the drive unit to which it is coupled with will be called “TRACTOR” or “DRIVE UNIT”. 1.2 Purpose of the manual This document contains all the necessary information about the accessory to which it refers.

    4. Transportation, assembly and disassembly 4.1 Transport of the umbrella The reverse umbrella is transported on the road separate from TR80 harvester. A forklift is sufficient for loading, unloading and transporting the reverse umbrella into the work area. Once the machine has been brought into the working area, it is necessary to proceed with the coupling of the reverse umbrella as described in the paragraph “4.2 Umbrella assembly”...

Figure 10 G) After removing the blocking pin, act on the hydraulic arm and move it backwards slowly until the umbrella case can be released, as shown in the figure (1).

    Using the umbrella 5. Using the umbrella 5.1 Controls The remote control supplied with the TR80 harvester governs the operation of the reverse umbrella as well. The commands relating to the umbrella only work if it is attached to the machine.

    Trees harvesting with the umbrella involves vibrating the tree trunk. Do not attempt to open the umbrella by clamping only one branch of the tree. Do not open the umbrella in the case of bushy/multi-stem plants (e.g. suckers). SICMA S.r.l.

  • Page 29 ATTENTION In order to use the vibration gear selector, ensure that the vibrating head is completely stopped, otherwise serious damage may be caused to it and to its hydraulic system. SICMA S.r.l.
  • Page 30 User and maintenance manual - REVERSE UMBRELLA - TR80 K) Actuate the vibrating head (4) which, by transmitting vibration to the clamped woody organ, causes the hanging fruit to fall into the reverse umbrella (1). L) Once the vibration is over, ONLY when the vibrating head (4) has come to a complete standstill, can it be opened completely by acting on the appropriate control.

  • Page 32 User and maintenance manual - REVERSE UMBRELLA - TR80 Stages of unloading ATTENTION The unloading of the reverse umbrella must take place on flat ground, with the machine stationary and with the telescopic arm totally retracted (not extended). The operator must avoid any risky maneuver that could cause the machine to become unstable, causing danger to third parties or to himself.

    Lubrication of the umbrella opening and closing system (idle and driving rods) The umbrella opening and closing system requires lubrication, even several times a day. Grease the points indicated at Figure 20 using common lubricating greases. Figure 20 SICMA S.r.l.
