Use chains, wire ropes or anchor straps with safety hooks and appropriate tensioners. It is forbidden to use ropes to fasten the machine to the transport vehicle; the rope could come loose as a result of the tension caused by acceleration, with sudden loosening of the fastening. Machine use 5.1 Coupling to the tractor The tractor to which the machine is to be connected must comply with the following characteristics: - It must be of the “open field” type (both wheeled and tracked) with an engine power of at least 100 HP and a total gross mass at least 30% higher than the gross mass of the machine itself.

The width between the two arms of the three-point linkage of the tractor linkage must be at least equal to (or greater) than the width of the links of the two lower points of the machine.

Page 80: Connection To Power/Power Take-Off (Pto 540 Rpm)

To operate the machine, however, it is necessary to connect the power take-off of the machine with that of the tractor by means of a cardan shaft (supplied).

If otherwise the red LED (2) lights up, check the correct insertion of the power socket and, if necessary, the electrical system of the tractor.

The tractor must therefore be equipped with a third (in addition to the 2 used for steering) free quick coupling. Braking will be activated by the hydraulic distributor on board the tractor. When the control valve lever is released, the wheels will become free again. SICMA S.r.l.
