Disposal of the battery:

The GARDENA battery contains
lithium­ion cells that should not
be disposed of with normal house­
Li-ion
hold waste at the end of its life.
IMPORTANT!
The battery may only be removed by qualified
personnel.

Problem
AssistCut can no longer
be stopped

Runtime too low
AssistCut does not start
or stops.

NOTE: For any other malfunctions please contact the GARDENA service depart­
ment. Repairs must only be done by GARDENA service departments or specialist
dealers approved by GARDENA.

1. If you have any questions regarding the removal
of the battery, please contact the GARDENA
Service.
2. Dispose of the batteries through or via your
municipal recycling collection centre.
v Close the handles, lock the blade, turn
off the product and use gloves before
you troubleshoot the product.
Possible Cause
Lower handle is jammed.
Not enough pressure on the
handles.
Branch is too hard.
Blade is soiled.
Battery is completely empty.
Battery temperature is outside
the permissible temperature
range.
Product is defective.
Remedy
v Switch off the AssistCut.
And see 1. SAFETY.
v Hold the handles with a firmer
grip.
v Check the charge level for
max. power assistance and
cut again.
v Clean the blade.
v Charge the battery.
v Wait until the battery tempera­
ture is between 0 °C – + 45 °C
again.
v Contact the GARDENA Service.
