General Information
The ABS brake system is divided diagonally (two circuits). The
brake booster is pneumatically controlled by the vacuum brake
booster.
The brake system installed in a vehicle is documented on the ve‐
hicle data sticker via the relevant PR number.

Sample Vehicle Data Label
The following brakes are installed in this example:
♦ Arrow -A- model.
♦ Arrow -B- front brakes -1LF.
♦ Arrow -C- rear brakes - 1KF.
The vehicle data label can be found in the spare wheel well as
well as in the Maintenance booklet.
The following table shows the meaning of the PR numbers. These
are important for combination brake caliper/brake disc/brake
drum and brake pad.

Brakes, Specifications
Note
Hairline cracks on brake rotor friction surfaces are often ob‐

served during brake repairs. Hairline cracks up to 10 mm long
are not a technical flaw and are not cause for brake rotor re‐
placement.
Brake rotors with friction surfaces that have worn through

should be replaced.
