Installation
Inserting the direction pin
4. Insert direction pin (6) into the
mechatronic unit (1) so that the
"R" can be read from the front on
a right hand door and the "L" on
a left hand door during use.
To make it easier to slide in, turn
thesquare spindle of the mechatronic
unit (1) anti-clockwise for right-hand
doors, and clockwise for left-hand
doors, as far as the limit stop when
inserting the direction pin (6)!
Take care to observe the polarity of the
batteries!
5. First insert the top batteries,
followed by the bottom batteries.
Fit the housing and handle
6. Push the housing (2) over the
mechatronic unit (1).
7. Position the metal ring (3) and
the guide ring (4) on the lever
handle bearing of the
mechatronic unit (1).
8. Fit the lever handle (5) onto the
square spindle of the
mechatronic unit (1). Lever
handle locks audibly into place.
Inserting the spindle
9. Insert the spindle (8) into the
square of the mechatronic unit
(1) and secure with a fastening
screw (9).
For a spindle of 7 mm, the reduction
sleeve (16) must be fitted such that the
release for the sleeve is pointing
upwards towards the fixing screw (4)!
