MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Note: Determine the left and right sides of the mower from the normal operating position.
Recommended Maintenance Schedule
Maintenance Service Interval
Before each use or daily
After very first 5 hours
Every 25 hours
Every 50 hours
Every 100 hours
Every 200 hours
Every 250 hours
Yearly
Yearly or before storage
Failure to follow this maintenance schedule could result in non warrantable failures.
Maintenance Procedure

Check the engine-oil level.

Check the air filter.
-
Clean grass clippings and dirt from under the mower.
-
Check the condition of guards and safety devices.
-
Check the condition of the blade.
-
Check condition of grass bag and ensure airways are clear (replace if damaged).
-
Change the engine oil.
-
Change the engine oil if continuously operating under heavy load or high ambient temperature.
-
Service the air filter.
-
Grease the inner control cables at point of entry and exit from their outer casing.

Check the clutch cable adjustment.
-
Sharpen the blade.
-
Change the engine oil
-
Clean the air filter.
-
Check/adjust the spark plug.
-
Check the condition of the drive belt, replace if showing signs of being worn, cracked or damaged.
-
Replace the air filter; replace it more frequently in dusty operating conditions.
-
Replace the spark plug.
-
Replace the blade or have it sharpened (more frequently if the edge dulls quickly).
-
Clean the air-cooling system; clean it more frequently in dusty operating conditions.
-
Change the engine oil.
-
Lubricate wheels, pivot points and linkages.
-
Empty the fuel tank before repairs as directed and before yearly storage.
