Configuring your network and security
When you connect ConductIP to your network, it is recommended to follow these best prac-
tices to maintain optimal security:

Make sure the ConductIP MRA is in a secure area that cannot be easily accessed by
unauthorized personnel.
•
If possible, install and use your own security certificate instead of the standard Con-
ductIP certificate.
•
Protect the ConductIP MRA BIOS with a secure password.
•
If you want to use DNS-SD to detect the ConductIP registry, it must be added to the
table of the DNS-SD server. The table entry must expose the service name "_nmos-
register._tcp".
