TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Set engine switch to ON.
Close the choke.
Add fuel.
Electric start will not work if battery is out of power. Start gen-
erator using the recoil start to charge the battery.
Store the generator in a warmer location.
Drain the fuel in the tank. Fill with fresh fuel.
Clean the spark plug.
Replace spark plug.
Add or replace oil. This generator is equipped with a low oil sen-
sor. The engine will not start unless the oil level is sufficient.
Remove the nut from the bottom of the carburetor. Take off the
carburetor to allow it to reset. Place the carburetor back and re-
install the nut.
Disconnect all the loads. Wait for two minutes and push the circuit
breaker to the ON position to reset it.
Check the power cords and extension cords. Do not use if any
cord is damaged. Replace damaged cords immediately.
Try connecting a different device.
Perform these steps:
1. Turn off all electrical devices.
2. Unplug all electrical devices.
3. Turn off generator.
4. Wait several minutes.
5. Restart generator.
6. Try connecting few electrical loads to the generator.
Try disconnecting any faulty or short-circuited electrical loads.
Clean or replace the air filter element (see page 20).
Turn off the generator and wait for it to cool down. Perform the
following steps:
1. Check if the fuel is properly and consistently going through the
fuel valve
2. Check for any blockage in the air filter. Check and clean the air
filter as necessary.
3. Check if the spark arrestor is blocked. Clean with metal brush
