6. Overview

To charge an accumulator put them into a free slot. The unit starts accu settings.
The charge mode AUTO or MAN can be selected by the function key. Without any
press automatic mode is adjusted.
At manual mode range of capacity has to be selected, too.
Then charge program has to be adjusted:
there CHARGE, DISCHARGE, CHECK, CYCLE and ALIVE are adjustable.
If no selection is made the accumulator is charged with the CHARGE- program at
automatic mode.
If the charging unit has finished the charge program RDY is displayed. The accumu-
lator can be removed.
With every press of the function key the data of all inserted accumulators are shown
one after the other. To see this viewing permanently the button has to be hold for
about 2 seconds as soon as the right data appears.
At power failure or if the unit is switched off all data and settings will be stored.
Environmental protection:
The final consumer is obliged to give all used accumulators back
by law. It is not allowed to throw them away into the garbage.
Exhausted batteries can be given back free at our branches or at
our central office at Hirschau, or at collecting points as usual,
which are obliged to take them back.

Utilisation conforme :
Ce chargeur ne doit servir à recharger ou à décharger que des accumulateurs de
type nickel-cadmium ou nickel-métal-hybride au nombre de quatre, de taille Mono
(R20), Baby (LR14), Mignon (AA), Micro (AAA) et Lady. Il n'y a aucune limite eu égard
à la capacité nominale maximale (exprimée en mAh ou Ah) des accumulateurs à
charger.
Les accumulateurs de type lithium-ion et les piles sèches ne doivent être ni déchar-
gés ni rechargés avec ce chargeur.

Le bénéfice de la garantie est perdu en cas de dysfonctionne-
ments consécutifs au non respect des consignes du mode d'em-
