This data viewing will appear for about 10 seconds after pressing the button; then
the overview of all four slots is shown again.
However, it is possible to let this viewing appear the whole time: to do this press the
button several times until you see the slot data you want to view and hold the button
for about 2 seconds. Now data of this slot is shown until the accumulator is removed
or the button is pressed again.
If a program was finished successful RDY (for READY) is shown and the arrow dis-
appears (battery symbol stops blinking at overview):
„1:RDY C= 1489mAh"
„MAN
D= 1398mAh"
„S
U= 1.44V"
„04:16
I= ——A"
Now the accumulator can be removed (by the way if accumulator is removed during
charge or discharge ERR for error can be shown for a short time because the unit
recognizes that no current flows).
If an accumulator stays in the unit and if it is necessary trickle charging (TRI) will be
started after 5 hours at the earliest. This means the accumulator will be charged up
(of course not after the discharge program where the accumulator is only dischar-
ged!). The capacity of trickle and the time needed for trickle are not shown or added.
Only voltage and current are updated. Because of this you will see only the charged
and discharged capacity and the needed time of the last absolved program.
If charging was not successful an error message ERR (for ERROR) is displayed and
the charging unit won't treat this accumulator anymore:
„ CHARGE MANAGER„
„================"
„1:ERR S
3:—- „
„2:—-
4:—- „
This is a charging unit that can charge up to four accumulators at the same time. So
if you want to charge further accumulators insert them into a free slot. The unit is
recognizing this accumulator, starting the adjust program, starting the charge pro-
gram after the adjust time and shows the last viewing again.
This unit has a memory backup; this means that the charge programs and the added
capacity values of all four slots are saved during power failure. Never change accu-
mulators during power failure because the unit would keep these now invalid data!
