    1. Introduction 1.2. Transmitter features The transmitter electronics is enclosed in a silver ABS case that combines ergonomics and functionality with an IP65 protection rating. On the transmitter are the following buttons Anchor right Up / Down. Anchor left Up / Down. Enables the command of the windlasses when the green LED is on.

    To resume the command, return to the range. • Also in the nearby presence of other Yacht Controller devices, operating at the same time on adjacent boats, improper activations are not possible because the transmitters continuously modify the communication frequency with the receivers.

    WARNING: When using Maximo it is recommended to turn off radar, microwave oven, induction cooker hob and any other device emitting electromagnetic waves with a power higher than 1,000 W. These devices, sometimes of low quality and not compliant with the law on electromagnetic emissions, can interfere with the transmissions of the Maximo system, which by law cannot exceed 10 mW (100,000 times less).

    On / Off and engage button Figure 2: On/Off and engage button • To make Maximo operating, press twice the engage (On-Off) button, within 5 seconds between the first pressure and the second one. • If the operation was successful, the receiver's beep stops and the system is fully operational.

    3. Using the transmitter DANGER: The Maximo system should only be used by adults with all the qualifications necessary for the proper operation and management of the boat. DANGER: Before turning on the motors and thrusters, carefully read the instructions in this manual to understand the different operation in manual and automatic mode.

    If supported, Maximo allows to set the acceleration profile used for the engines command. To add this function to the system, please, request it with surcharge from the Yacht Controller. The standard profiles are the following.

    If the battery gets completely exhausted, it will be necessary to replace it at the Yacht Controller laboratories. IMPORTANT: In case of non-compliance with the rules of use, the battery replacement WILL NOT BE COVERED BY WARRANTY.

    If you notice an eccessive heating of the transmitter during use or while charging, isolate the transmitter immediately and take it away to flammable material. Contact an authorized dealer or directly the Yacht Controller. 4.2. Cleaning the transmitter Remove any salt residues due to use or a possible fall in water, cleaning with a soft cloth with fresh water.

This warranty does not include any labor costs or charges whatsoever and is strictly for the repair or replacement of the Yacht Controller unit or remote.
