    1. Introduction 1.1. General features of the transmitter On the transmitter there is a joystick to control the motors, on which it is placed a button for the immediate control of the thrusters. On the transmitter are also present the following control buttons: Anchor winches.

  • Page 5: Important Rules Before Use

    For your safety don’t try to open the transmitter or remove the battery. This operations may cause damages to the battery and to the transmitter, cause injuries and make the transmitter unsafe. In case of failures and malfunctions contact an authorized Yacht Controller Dealer. ATTENTION: It’s necessary to do a full recharge of the transmitter at least once a month.

    • The transmitter must always be secured outside the range of children on board. Do not use MAXIMO if the transmitter has been immersed in the water (see also • the paragraph dedicated to the maintenance).

    Maximo from operating (for example, control heads off). In this case, Maximo cannot be used. To view the alarm, wait approximately one / two minutes then connect with a smartphone, tablet or PC to the Maximo Wi-Fi (see “Wi-Fi connection”...

    10 sec. 5 sec. If you desire a customized profile it is possible to ask it to Yacht Controller, with a surcharge on the standard price. The percentage of acceleration is meant relatively to the maximum rpm of the engines and is reached, depending on the current profile, in the estimated time.

    4. Use of the Joystick DANGER: The use of the MAXIMO system is reserved to adults with of a boat license and equipped with all the necessary requirements to drive a vessel. DANGER: TO BE ABLE TO USE THE SYSTEM MAXIMO YOU MUST LEAVE THE CONTROL HEAD IN NEUTRAL POSITION.

    4.2. Rotation of the boat The MAXIMO system has four buttons that allow the boat rotation clockwise / counter- clockwise using only the engines or with the combined use of engines and thrusters. The following describes the function of each button.

    If the battery gets completely exhausted, it will be necessary to replace it at the Yacht Controller laboratories. IMPORTANT: In case of non-compliance with the rules of use, the battery replacement WILL NOT BE COVERED BY WARRANTY.

How to clean the transmitter After using your Yacht Controller MAXIMO, remove any salt residue by wiping with a soft cloth using fresh water. ALWAYS avoid soaking it. If the transmitter has fallen into salt water, immediately turn off the receiver following the procedure described in this manual.

    7. Warranty Each Yacht Controller system is warranted for 36 months, to the original purchaser from the date of sale by the manufacturer against defects of material and workmanship. This warranty does not include any labor costs or charges whatsoever and is strictly for the repair or replacement of the Yacht Controller unit or remote.
