About the trailer

Fifth wheel (of a tractor)

The tractor fifth wheel is located in front of the rear axle of the
tractor and is used to couple the trailer to the tractor. Before
coupling the trailer to the tractor make sure the tractor fifth wheel
is properly lubricated.

WARNING
• Do not use any tractor fifth wheel that fails to operate properly.
Always check the fifth wheel for proper lubrication and operation
before coupling.
• Do not couple to a closed fifth wheel. Doing so may damage the
tractor fifth wheel and trailer kingpin.
