Steps
1. Align the screw holes on the fan with the screw holes on the system board and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the two screws (M2x4) and the single screw (M1.6x4) to secure the fan to the system board and palm-rest and
keyboard assembly.
3. Connect the fan cable to the system board.

For maximum cooling of the processor, do not touch the heat transfer areas on the heat sink. The
oils on your skin can reduce the heat transfer capability of the thermal grease.

The heat sink may become hot during normal operation. Allow sufficient time for the heat sink to cool before you
touch it.
