Installation Environment
The UPS installation environment should meet the following requirements:


The optimal operating temperature for batteries is 20–30° C. Operating at temperatures lower
than 20° C will shorten the battery backup time, operating at temperatures higher than 30° C
will shorten the battery lifespan.

Appearance
The UPS should be installed indoors.
Install the UPS in an environment with good ventilation and free of dust, volatile gas,
salt, and corrosive materials. Keep the UPS far away from water, heat source, flammable
and explosive substances. Avoid direct sunlight.
CAUTION
Maintain a clearance of at least 60 mm from the front panel and rear panel of the UPS to
the wall or adjacent equipment.
Keep the air vents on the front and rear panels unobstructed to facilitate ventilation and
heat dissipation. Otherwise, the UPS internal temperature will rise, which will shorten
the lifetime of the UPS.
