5 PDCOM interface Mounting (with VPIS/VDS)

If the device is installed inside an enclosed
cabinet, please check that there is enough
space all round so that the connectors and
cables can be fitted.
In case the device is installed in the front door of
the panel (low voltage area) the following
procedure must be used. It is made by following
steps:
• Step 1: Identify the VPIS/VPIS
•Step 2: VPIS/VDS Wires connection options
- Option 1: choose a VIS interface with the
same connector of your VPIS/VDS, so you
can connect the wires to the VIS interface
and the to the VPIS/VDS with very short
wires or if not possible shielded wires.
- Option 2: if VIS interface connectors are
different from your VPIS/VDS connectors
you can make 3 adapter cables. These
cables should be very short (3 centimeters
maximum).
