FILTER
Using FX Part Select
The effect applies to the selected Stem (Drums / Vocal / Bass &
Melody) of the loaded track.
• The effect applies to all Stems when using sound from the external
inputs, microphone, or sampler.
1 Select a Stem, or multiple Stems, with the [FX PART SELECT]
buttons.
Press [DRUMS], [VOCAL], or [INST] (Bass & Melody) button and the button
will light up. The effect applies to all Stems with lit buttons.
2 Apply an effect.
When the sound is applied with Beat FX or Sound Color FX, the effect applies
to the selected Stem only.

To cancel FX Part Select
When all [FX PART SELECT] ([VOCAL], [DRUMS], [INST]) buttons
light up, the effect applies to all Stems, which means FX Part Select is
canceled.
Explanation
Outputs sound that has passed through a
filter.
• COLOR:
Turn counterclockwise: Gradually
decreases the low-pass filter's cut-off
frequency.
Turn clockwise: Gradually increases the
high-pass filter's cut-off frequency.
