FILTER
Using FX Part Select
The effect applies to the selected part (Drums / Vocal / INST) of the
loaded track.
• The effect applies to all parts when using sound from the external
inputs, microphone, or sampler.
1 Select a part, or multiple parts, with the [FX PART SELECT]
buttons.
Press [DRUMS], [VOCAL], or [INST] button and the button will light up. The
effect applies to all parts with lit buttons.
2 Apply an effect.
When the sound is applied with Beat FX, Sound Color FX, or Pad FX, the effect
applies to the selected part only.

To cancel FX Part Select
When all [FX PART SELECT] ([VOCAL], [DRUMS], [INST]) buttons
light up, the effect applies to all parts, which means FX Part Select is
canceled.
Explanation
Outputs sound that has passed through a
filter.
• COLOR:
Turn counterclockwise: Gradually
decreases the low-pass filter's cut-off
frequency.
Turn clockwise: Gradually increases the
high-pass filter's cut-off frequency.
