7.4 CAUTION FOR PCB ASSY SERVICING

During servicing, please observe the following important points.
1. Scart socket copper clips
- Ensure that the gap between these clips is as large as possible.
- Ensure that each leg of the clip touches the rear panel.
2. Bottom can
- It is important that the fingers on the bottom can touch the chassis.
Before re-fitting the PCB, bend the fingers up to approximately 45 degrees.
- 2 points on the bottom can must be soldered to reduce the noise (see figure 3).
3. 5V Power supply
- Be carefull not to short the 5V supply lines. If this occurs, the IC protector P301 on the POWER Assy will blow.
