7.1.1 CHECK MODE

1. Inspection Software Mode
The DBR-TF100 test software is resident in the flash.
¶ How to enter Inspection Software Mode:
1. Connect the serial debug PCB (GGF1348) to the IRD (see diagram below).
2. Switch on the IRD.
3. Connect the PC serial lead to the serial debug PCB.
NOTE:
If step 3 is carried out before step 2 then the Inspection Software Mode will not be started and the normal application will run.

Remark : The IRD can be put in Inspection Software mode by shorting Pin 4 of CN5003 to 5V.

During initialisation, if any step fails LED flashes indicate which step fails.
The number of flashes is as shown in the table below.

¶ How to exit Inspection Software Mode:
1. Switch off the power.

2. Disconnect the serial debug PCB.
3. Switch the power on again.
