Page 6: General Information: Dn70-100 -> Models
The Bendy Packers in sizes DN70-100 (3”-4”) to DN225-300 (9”-12”) are fitted with a short connection hose which allows the attachment of the Picote Push Rods. The amount of push rods required will vary by installation length and project requirements. -

Before use: ensure correct (maximum) operating pressure for the tool. Excessive pressure can cause the Bendy Packer to fail or explode. • When installing a repair in a plastic pipe, it is worth abrading the inside of the pipe, us- ing the Picote Smart Cutter™, as this will help the repair bond to the host pipe. • Keep your working area clean and prevent unauthorised access to the work site. Ensure proper ventilation and lighting. -

SAVE ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE CONNECTING PICOTE PUSH RODS Using Picote Push Rods gives you possibility to push, pull, rotate, inflate and extend the install length of the repair. Screw the locking ring until it’s completely against the collar.

The ‘off-limits’ zone is measured at each end of the Bendy Packer, from the end of the bladder where it meets the metal cap (refer to photograph and table below). SUPPORTING HOSE - FULL LENGTH OF BENDY PACKER Measure out the ‘support hose’ and cover the Bendy Packer from the end cap to the adapter hose located in the filler cap. Do not use resin that has not been properly stored or has expired shelf life left. Ensure that you have all the necessary equipment available and everything is set up before wet-out to ensure a good end result. REMOVING THE BENDY PACKER (POST INSTALLATION) Once the patch/lining has fully cured, release the pressure from the Bendy Packer. Once the Bendy Packer has fully deflated, pull it outside of the pipe using the Picote Push Rods and/or Pulling Rope. -
Page 29: Maintenance, Service & Repair
Bendy Packer inside and simultaneously monitoring for leaks. Do not use the Bendy Packer if leaks are found and contact your local Picote Reseller. The primary method for cleaning the Bendy Packer should be with a damp cloth and soap to clean the surfaces. -
