SERVICE PROCEDURE
MANUAL FAN REVERSING METHOD
NOTICE
Never rotate the fan in reverse by hand when carrying out the operation.
Before operating the fan reverse rotation switch, run the engine at low idling.
1. Set the directional lever to the Neutral position.
2. Set the parking brake switch to the ON position to apply the parking brake.
3. Run the engine at low idling.
4. Press position (a) (manual reverse rotation ON) of cooling fan
reverse rotation switch (1).
5. After the cooling fan reverse rotation pilot lamp on the machine
monitor flashes, check that it lights up. At the same time,
"COOLING FAN REVERSE" is displayed on the character
display and the fan is set to rotate in reverse.
6. Run the engine at high idling.
Select the time for running the engine at high idle as follows according to the condition of clogging.
Normal clogging: 1 to 2 minutes
Excessive clogging: 2 to 3 minutes
7. When the cleaning is completed, run the engine at low idling.
8. Press position (a) (manual reverse rotation ON) of cooling fan
reverse rotation switch (1).
