EXPLANATION OF COMPONENTS
MACHINE MONITOR MODE SELECTOR SWITCH 2
This switch (13) is used to switch the function of the character
display.
When the switch is released, it automatically returns to its original
position.
The basic operation is as follows.
Position (>): Press here to go on to the next screen, or to move the
cursor forward, or to increase the number when
entering numerals
Position (<): Press here to go back to the previous screen, or to
move the cursor back, or to reduce the number when
entering numerals
KICKDOWN SWITCH
When the gear shift lever is at F2, if switch (14) at the head of the
lift arm control lever is pressed, the transmission will shift down one
range.
Use this when you need to increase the drawbar pull in digging
operations.
When the transmission shift range is in FORWARD 1st (F1) and
the power mode selector switch is at E mode, if switch (14) is
pressed, it is possible to switch to P mode.
Use this function during scraping-up operations or during digging
operations when it is desired to further increase the lifting force.

If the transmission is in auto-shift, and the travel speed is below 10.5 km/h (6.5 MPH) in any speed range when
traveling in either forward or in reverse, the kick-down switch is actuated and it is possible to shift down to 1st.
This makes it easy to carry out load and carry operations.
Even if the travel speed is more than 10.5 km/h (6.5MPH), this switch can be used to shift the transmission down.
Each time the kick-down switch is pressed, the speed range will shift down one range at a time (F4 -> F3 -> F2).
