14. Interface Description

Plus may be connected to a computer via the RS232 or the USB-
interface (Pic. 4) (work station or laboratory information system).
14.1. Serial Interface

14.2. USB 1.1-Interface
USB-jack Type B (Pic. 4 E ). The instrument will be identified as a serial inter-
face.
14.3. Transmission Protocol
The data is released via the interfaces as plain text. The received dataset cor-
responds to the format of the printout.
14.4. Barcode Scanner, PC-Keyboard
A USB-jack Type A (Pic. 4 F ) is provided for connection of a keyboard or bar
code scanner.
14.5. Ethernet-Interface
The RJ45 jack (Pic. 4 I ) is not supported.
