Float switch cable (3) set too long
• Pull back the float switch cable (3) and
make sure that the float switch (6) can

Manual mode

In manual mode, the pump does not switch
off automatically, as the float switch (6) is
bypassed.
Position the float switch (6) with the holder
(5) vertically upwards in one of the float
switch height grids (4).
Monitor the pump constantly when
in manual mode. Switch the pump
off immediately (disconnect from the
mains) if no more water is being
pumped. There is a risk of damage
if the pump runs dry.

Operational start-up

• Check that the pump is standing firmly
on the bottom of the shaft or hung up
safely.
• Place the pump on a brick and not on
a shaft floor, if applicable. This pre-
vents damage to the pump if the shaft
floor is soiled.
• Check whether the pressure line has
been attached correctly and the unused
pump outlet is fully closed.
24
• Avoid that the pump runs dry. Regular-
ly check the function of the float switch.
In case of non-observance or if the
pump runs dry, guarantee and liability
claims are invalidated.
• Check that the electrical connection is
230 V~ 50 Hz
• Check the proper status of the electri-
cal plug socket and make sure that the
plug socket is sufficiently fused (at least
6 A, RCD switch). Insert the pump plug
into the plug socket and the pump is
ready for operation.
• Make sure that moisture or water never
come in contact with the mains connec-
tion. There is a risk of electrocution.
• The minimum water level on initial start-
up must be 90 mm.
Cleaning/Maintenance/
Storage
Clean and maintain your equipment regu-
larly. This will guarantee its performance
and long durability.
Ask our service centre to carry out
any work that is not described in
these instructions. Use only original
parts.
This will prevent damage to the
equipment and any resulting per-
sonal injury.
Pull out the power plug before
every maintenance operation. There
is a risk of electrocution or of injury
from moving parts.

General cleaning instructions

• In case of transport for utilization in
different locations, the pump must be
cleaned with clear water after every use.
