There is a risk of injury from projected objects. • Before starting the hedge trimmer, remove all the keys and inspect if the tool is well assembled and secure.

3. ASSEMBLY Please follow the instructions for assembly carefully. A tool non-correctly assembled will cause accidents and injuries. Check, after unpacking, if the tool is complete and not damaged. If not complete or damaged, do not use the tool and bring it back to your dealer. The assembly and the setting of the height must be done with the appliance unplugged, the blade covered with its protection.
4. USE • Be sure that the tool is correctly assembled. • Inspect the working area. Remove all materials and objects which can damage the tool or create accidents. • Remember that you must wear full protective equipment and put the bystanders far away from the working area.

b. Cutting techniques • Move the vertical section of the electric hedge trimmer evenly forward or do curved movements up and down. • In order to keep long straight lines, we recommend stretching cords. • It is recommended to cut hedges into trapezoidal shape to avoid lower branches getting naked. Doing so corresponds to the natural growth of plants and hedges can thrive optimally.
5. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE Maintain your tool regularly. This will keep your tool in good working order and extend its lifespan. Do not use abrasive, caustic agents to clean the tool. These types of products will damage your tool. Do not perform repairs by yourself. Repairs and inspection must be carried out by a competent person or at an authorized service center (please contact you service dealer).
6. DISPOSAL Electrical products should not be discarded with household products. According to the European Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation into national law, electrical products used must be collected separately and disposed of at collection points provided for this purpose.
