1.2 Checking the Printer Interface

How to connect to your computer differs depending on the printer you are using. Connect
the printer to the computer in one of the following ways and install the printer driver.
For printer interfaces not mentioned in this manual, refer to the Operator Manual of each
printer.
Caution
Bluetooth connection may be unstable depending on compatibility with host
devices. When using Bluetooth connection, please test the operation
beforehand in your usage environment (host device, print data, print quantity,
print frequency, etc.).

The printer driver can be installed by the following connection methods:
• USB (Type B)
• LAN
• Wireless LAN (when the optional wireless LAN kit is installed)
