Using the oven
!
CAUTION!
• Some parts of the oven become very hot when in use. Protect
yourself and especially children against contact with hot parts.
• Only light the oven when the oven door is completely open.
• Position food being cooked, the oven shelf and the drip pan so that
they are not in contact with the flame.
• Use protective gloves when handling the hot parts.

NOTE
• Ensure additional ventilation when baking, for example, by opening
the window.
• Do not use the oven to heat the vehicle interior.
• Before using the oven for the first time, operate it empty (without
food) at maximum temperature for a period of 30 minutes. Then
switch the oven off and leave it switched off for at least 1 minute
before lighting it again.

Inserting the oven shelf
➤ Open the oven door completely.
➤ Insert the oven shelf (fig. 6 3, page 13) in the oven so that it rests on the left and
right-hand brackets mounted on the oven sides.
8.2
Switching on the oven
Automatic ignition (fig. 7, page 13)
➤ Open the oven door completely.
➤ Make sure that the gas supply is turned on.
➤ Press in the temperature regulator (1) and hold it down.
➤ Turn the temperature regulator to the left into a 2 – 6 position on the temperature
scale.
➤ Press and hold down the temperature regulator for another 5 – 10 seconds.
✓ The burner is ignited automatically.
➤ Turn the temperature regulator to the required position (see chapter "Setting the
temperature" on page 35).
