M.2 Slot
This motherboard has one M.2 slot (J17). M.2 was formerly known as Next Generation Form
Factor (NGFF) and serves to replace mini PCIe. M.2 allows for a variety of card sizes, increased
functionality, and spatial efficiency. The M.2 slots on the motherboard supports PCIe 3.0 x2 in
the 22110 and 2280 form factors.
MCIO Connectors
JSLIM1–JSLIM5 are backplane MCIO connectors that support NVMe0–NVMe9 or ten PCIe 5.0
x4 devices.
