5) Pull out the cotter pin, remove
castle nut and washer from the
rear axle. The Tires are directional.
Look at the side wall of the tire and
make sure the arrow points in the
direction of forward rotation for the
side you will be mounting it on.
Caution! If the tires are installed on
the wrong side with the arrow
pointing in the opposite direction it
is being rotated this is a safety
hazard and will damage the tire.
Lift the vehicle and put the rear tire
mounted to the rear hub on the
axle. You may need to slowly turn
the wheel and hub to align the
splines on the axle with the hub.
Secure with the washer, nut, and
cotter pin. Once the cotter pin is
inserted, bend half of it back over
the nut and fold the other half the
opposite way as shown in the
photos below.
