Guest Services

Provides user authentication against a configured LDAP source. Users
can also be created locally to supplement the LDAP source.
Is configured through the same Administration Tool as the
Application Gateway.
Enables you to specify the prefix to be dialed for outside calls, as well
as the show/hide Caller ID prefixes for your area.
Can be integrated with custom Web applications by adding a
JavaScript onClick () event to Web page elements such as link text,
buttons, images, and asp.net controls.
Automatically installs when a user visits a Web URL provided by the
administrator.
Automatically updates when it connects to the Application Gateway
and a new version is available.
Communicates securely with the Application Gateway over SSL.
Works with IPSec and SSL VPN clients, including the Citrix Access
Gateway.
Provides the phone user a log of the calls initiated through Smart
Agent.
Smart Agent currently does not support telephone numbers in
International Direct Distance Dialing (IDDD) format. We plan to support
that feature in the next release.

and the online Help available from the Smart Agent application.
Displays custom advertising and information services on Nortel IP
Phone 2007.
Manages the applications displayed on the phones, including rotating
slideshows and speed-dial buttons. You can configure each slideshow
image and button to either dial a telephone number or link a user to a
related Web page or application.
Provided in two packages:
The Guest Services Silver Package includes a full-screen slideshow
and/or button panel, with built-in navigation.
