■ AC アダプタの使用方法
AC アダプタを取り付ける前に、カメラ本体の電源が「OFF」
になっていることを確認してください。AC アダプタの取り付け
は、次の手順で行います（図 2―イラストは COOLPIX8800
です） 。

Connecting the AC Adapter Connecting the AC Adapter
Before connecting the AC adapt er, be sure the camera is
off.
Follow these steps to connect the adapter (Figure 2; illustra-
tion shows COOLPIX 8800):
1 Plug the AC adapter plug into the AC adapt er (Figure 2-a).
2 Open the connector cover and insert the DC plug into the
DC IN connector (Figure 2-b).
3 Plug the wall plug into a pow er out let. The POWER lamp will
glow, showing that the EH-54 is plugged in (Figure 2-c).
If the POWER lamp does not light, unplug the AC
adapter and take the charger to a Nikon representa-
tive for in spec tion.
4 Turn the camera on.
You can now use the camera. When operating the camera
with the AC adapter, take care that the camera does not
ac ci den tal ly be come un plugged.
✔ IMPORTANT
Before disconnecting the AC adapt er, be sure the cam-
era is off. Unplug the DC plug from the camera's DC-IN
con nec tor, then unplug the pow er cable from the power
source by pull ing on the plug, not the cable.

Nikon Servicestelle überprüfen.
4 Schalten Sie die Kamera ein.
Sie können jetzt mit der Kamera arbeiten. Wenn Sie die
Kamera über den Netzadapter mit Strom versorgen, soll-
ten Sie darauf ach ten dass die Ver bin dung zwischen bei-
den Geräten nicht ver se hent lich getrennt wird, wäh rend
