Display lock
The display lock protects your smartphone from unauthorised use. When you switch your
smartphone on or enable the display, you are prompted to unlock your smartphone .
The display lock becomes active after a defined time after your smartphone has switched to idle
mode.
A pattern, PIN or password is used as the display lock.
It is also possible to use a fingerprint or facial recognition as a display lock (
this case, the display lock set up serves as the alternative method.

Automatically unlocking the smartphone with Smart Lock
Smart Lock enables your smartphone to be unlocked automatically under certain circum-
stances, such as when you have it on you or are at home.
A display lock is set up.
