ACCESSORY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Before using the battery, read all the instructions and cautionary
markings on (1) battery, (2) battery charger, and (3) i1000 using
battery.
• For your protection, store the battery in its case when not in use.
• Before using the Travel Charger, read all the instructions and
cautionary markings on (1) the Travel Charger, (2) the battery, and
(3) the Nextel phone using the battery.
• Before using the Vehicular Battery Charger (VBC), read all the
instructions and cautionary markings on (1) the VBC, (2) the battery,
and (3) the i1000 using the battery.
• Before using the Desktop Battery Charger, read all the instructions
and cautionary markings on (1) battery charger, (2) battery, and (3)
Nextel phone using battery.
• Do not expose the Travel Charger, Desktop Battery Charger or
Vehicular Battery Charger to rain or snow.

objects, including communication equipment, in the
ar ea over the air bag or in the air bag deployment
ar ea. If the communication equipment is impr
installed and the air bag infl ates, this could cause
serious injury .

technician qualifi ed in the r equir ements f or such
installations. An air bag' s size, shape, and
deployment ar ea can v ary by v ehicle mak e, model,
and fr ont compartment confi guration (f or example,
bench seat vs. b ucket seats).
