TURNING OFF GROUP AND PRIVATE
MODES (PHONE ONLY MODE)
Your Nextel phone has a special feature, Phone Only mode, that allows you
to turn off the Private and Group modes. You can make and receive phone
calls and receive voice mail alerts and text and numeric pages.
Phone Only mode is useful when you are outside your local calling area or
not using Nextel Direct Connect.
Turning on the Phone Only mode:

To return to normal Phone mode:
