PRIVATE CALL

A Private call is a one-to-one conversation between you and someone else
on another Nextel phone. You'll want to make a Private Call if you need to
talk to someone in your local calling area and don't want to page him or
leave a message that might not be retrieved for hours.

¥ To contact the last Private ID that you called, press
PTT button.
¥ To select another number (previously entered in your
Private ID list), press

MAKING A PRIVATE CALL

1. Open the cover.
2. Press

"Prvt Ready" on your display.
3. Use the keypad to enter the Private
ID of the person that you want to reach.
4. To speak, press and hold the PTT button,
wait for the chirp, then speak into the
microphone.
5. To listen, release the PTT button.
IMPORTANT: After creating a Calling List (see "Programming Your
Nextel Direct Connect Private Calling List" on
the following options to make a Private Call.
