At all times the manufacturer's maintenance and service guidelines shall be followed. If in doubt consult the manufacturer's technical department for assistance.
  • Page 7 • Repair to intrinsically safe components Do not apply any permanent inductive or capacitance loads to the circuit without ensuring that this will not exceed the permissible voltage and current permitted for the equipment in use. Intrinsically safe components are the only types that can be worked on while live in the presence of a flammable atmosphere.
  • Page 8 • Charging procedures In addition to conventional charging procedures, the following requirements shall be followed. Ensure that contamination of different refrigerants does not occur when using charging equipment. Hoses or lines shall be as short as possible to minimise the amount of refrigerant contained in them. Cylinders shall be kept upright.
  • Page 9 • Recovery When removing refrigerant from a system, either for servicing or decommissioning, it is recommended good practice that all refrigerants are removed safely. When transferring refrigerant into cylinders, ensure that only appropriate refrigerant recovery cylinders are employed. Ensure that the correct number of cylinders for holding the total system charge is available.

    How It Works This product is a dehumidifier. It controls relative humidity by passing the air through the unit, forcing the excess moisture to condensate over the cooling elements. Contact with this cold surface causes the moisture in the air to condense. This condensed water then drains safely into the water tank.

    Control Panel Operation 1. Press the POWER button to turn the unit On or Off. After it is switched on, the dehumidifying function will start immediately. The power indicator light next to 'DEH' will light up. When the compressor stops, the light will flash. 2.
  • Page 15 Operation light will switch and stay on if it successfully connects. The Glen Dimplex Connect phone app will allow for device functions to be controlled through the app as well. Please follow the included Wi-Fi instructions/app prompts to work this.

  • Page 18 Drainage Note: When the water tank is full, the full tank indicator light will switch on and a buzzer will ring 15 times to alert that drainage needs to occur. Note: Do not remove the floater in the water tank, otherwise the water sensor will not be able to sense the water level and the device will not be able to operate normally.
