Push handle of the bonnet catch upwards

and lift the bonnet until it opens automatically.
Closing the bonnet
* NOTE Damage to the bonnet
If the bonnet is closed manually, there is a risk
of dents.
Do not close the bonnet manually.

Lower the bonnet to a height of around 20 cm
#
and then allow it to fall, applying a little force
as you let it go.
If the bonnet can still be lifted slightly, open
#
the bonnet again and close it with a little more
force until it engages correctly.
Engine oil
▌Checking the engine oil level using the driver's
display
Requirements
The engine has been warmed up.

The vehicle is parked on a level surface.
R
The engine is running at idle speed.
R
The bonnet is closed.
R
Determining the engine oil level can take up to
30 minutes with a normal driving style and even
longer with an active driving style.

The engine oil level is shown.
One of the following messages will appear on the
driver's display:
Engine oil level Measuring now...: the engine

oil level cannot be determined yet.
Repeat the request after a maximum of

30 minutes' driving.
Engine oil level OK and the bar display for

indicating the engine oil level on the driver's
display is green and is between "min" and
"max": the engine oil level is correct.
Engine oil level Top up 1,0 l

driver's display is yellow and is below "min":
Add 1 l of engine oil.
