PRIMARY POWER
Primary power
is
supplied to the instrument transformer primary through the
line filter
module.
The
voltage selector cam position provides correct power connections to the transformer for
line
voltages
of 100, 120, 220, or
240 Vac
±10%,
at 47.5 to 66 Hz,
LINE MODULE
The
line
module performs several
functions:
The
main line fuse protects
the instrument
from:
Line voltage
surges
Incorrect
line
voltage
Line module, transformer, motherboard, or rectifier assembly shorts.
Line transient suppression.
Line voltage
configuration (see Figure
1-1).
