Operating Instructions
Mounting of auxiliary handles (2)
- Disconnect the plug.
- Screw auxiliary hand e A on the right or the left of the tool (depending on the work to be carried out)
- Mount auxiliary handle B as illustrated and tighten both screws supplied with hex key (C).
Mounting of accessories
- Disconnect the plug .
- Clean spindle D and all parts to be mounted.
- Screw VELCRO backing pad E onto spindle D while pushing spindle-lock button F
Warning: push spindle-lock button F only when spindle D is at a standstill.
- Simply press wool bonnet G onto VELCRO backing pad E.
- For removing accessories handle please follow the steps vice-versa.
Before using the tool
- Ensure that accessory is correctly mounted and firmly tightened.
- Check if accessory runs freely by turning it by hand.
- Test-run tool for at least 30 seconds at highest no-load speed in a safe position.
- Stop immediately in case of considerable vibration or other defects and check tool to determine the cause.
On/off
- Switch on/off the tool by pulling/releasing trigger (H1).
Electronic soft-start
Ensures reaching the maximum speed smoothly without a sudden impact when tool is switched on.
Switch locking for continuous use
- Pull trigger (H).
- Press knob (J) with your thumb.
- Unlock the switch by pulling again trigger (H) and then releasing it.
Speed control (3)
- With wheel (K) the maximum speed can be adjusted from low to high (1-MAX).
- Start with wheel (K) in position 1 (lower speed).
- If needed, select a higher speed while the tool runs.
- The optimal working speed depends on the material and can be determined with practical trials.
Operating the tool
- Switch on the tool.
- Place the tool fully on the surface to be polished and move it evenly by sections.
- One move should overlap the previous move by one half.
- Do not stop at a single spot to avoid burning the coating.
- Do not move the tool in circles to avoid staining or burning the coating.
Warning! Before switching off the tool, you should lift it from the workpiece.
Warning! The accessory continues to rotate for a short time after the tool has been switched off.
