Installing the Optional Centering Brackets
To install the optional centering brackets, follow the steps below.
1. If not already removed, remove the shipping
bracket from the lower middle of the right side of
the fireplace. Use an 1/4" nut driver to remove
the two bolts that secure the bracket to the side
of the fireplace. Set the bolts aside for
reinstallation. Discard the shipping bracket.

3. Place the keyhole slots on the centering bracket
over the three bolts along one of the edges of the
fireplace. With the keyholes over the loosened
bolts, slide the bracket toward the center. The
position of the standoff is dictated by the desired
way to apply the finish material (see "Standard vs
Extended Position" on page 36.
5. Repeat the above steps with the second centering bracket.

2. Loosen (but do not remove) the (6) bolts along the
outer edge of the end of the fireplace marked with
black circles. Remove the (2) bolts marked with
red circles to the right. Set the bolts aside for
reinstallation.
4. When the bracket is in the desired position, install
the bolts that were removed in steps 1 & 2 and
tighten the (3) bolts that the keyhole slots engaged

Remove these
bolts and discard
the shipping
bracket.
