5.5 CONFIGURING THE TRANSMISSION PLAN

To configure the transmission plan, access the TRANSMISSION (TX) PLAN menu.
From this menu, you can allocate transmission and FEC rates, set the IF frequency, and perform
advanced configuration operations. Option 3, Encoder Number, should always be "0" at this
time.

5.5.1 Allocating Rates

To allocate rates, select option "1" from the TX PLAN menu.
The RATE ALLOC/FEC menu displays:
The default rate of 1/2 is shown. To enter another rate, use the left and right arrow keys to scroll
through the valid rates. Select the rate desired, and press <ENTER>.
The screen then prompts:
shown, with the cursor on the first, far left, "0".

Select Info FEC:
