4.5.3 Control and Monitoring Connections

Cable connections for terminal control and other functions are described in the following
subparagraphs.
4.5.3.1 Terminal Connections.
To use a dumb ASCII terminal to monitor or control the DVT2000, connect the device to the RS-
232 CONTROL Port with a cable wired as shown in Table 7.
Alternately, an IBM compatible personal computer running a terminal emulation program may be
used. Set the RS-232 port of the terminal (or PC) as follows:
